2015 Scott Vanish Evo Helmet Recall

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Scott has voluntarily issued a safety recall on all its 2015 Vanish Evo helmets.

The recall issue
These helmets fail impact testing required under the CPSC's Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets. Riders wearing these helmets are not properly protected from falls and could suffer severe head injuries.

No incidents or injuries have been reported.

How to identify if you have this helmet
This recall involves roughly 1,450 helmets. The brand name "Scott" is printed on left side of the outer shell. For the Vanish Evo Black/Gray helmets, the lettering is Black. For the Vanish Evo White/Gray helmets, the lettering is White. The serial number ranges included in this recall are:

2014-06/009359 to 2014-09/027210

The serial number is printed on a white sticker inside the helmet. You can also enter your helmet's serial number here to see if it's affected by the recall.

Remedy
Immediately stop using this bicycle helmet and bring it in to our store for a refund of the purchase price.
